ZOMIG ZOLMITRIPTAN 2.5 MG 2 TABS

Zomig contains zolmitriptan and it belongs to a group of medicines called triptans. Zomig is used to treat migraine headaches in adults 18 years of age and older. Migraine symptoms can be caused by a dilation of the blood vessels in the head. Zomig is thought to decrease the dilation of these blood vessels. This helps the headache and other symptoms of a migraine attack, such as feeling sick (nausea or vomiting) and sensitivity to light and noise, go away. Zomig works only when a migraine attack has started. It will not prevent you from having a crisis
